4 steps for sand making machine rotor leveling

The rotor is the core component of the sand making machine. Before leaving the factory, the manufacturer will use an online dynamic balancer to ensure the balance of the rotor of the sand making machine by adding a counterweight to the rotor. After long-term use on site, the rotor is unbalanced due to wear and other reasons, and the unbalanced rotor will cause undesirable phenomena such as excessive machine vibration, low sand making efficiency, and reduced service life of the spindle assembly. Therefore, it is very important to ensure the balance of the rotor.

Recently, I consulted with users in the background on how to adjust the balance of the impeller rotor. Let me share with you how to balance and correct the rotor.

When to perform a balance correction
1. After the rotor repair operation, such as after hardening;
2. If the machine vibrates greatly but the wear plate is in good condition, it is recommended to check the balance of the rotor.

Steps for Rotor Calibration
After understanding the reason and timing of the correction, we also need to understand the specific operation steps. Only by understanding the steps can the correction process be completed. Generally speaking, the steps are mainly divided into four:

1) Because the rotor of the impeller will also wear when the sand making machine is running, when the balance is corrected after replacing the worn parts, it is necessary to clean the sand and gravel on the rotor and its accessories, old wear parts, etc. Confirm that it can continue to be used, otherwise, there is no need to calibrate the balance, and the rotor needs to be replaced before calibration;
2) Reinstall the wear parts, and install the rotor on the balance tool;
3) Determine the unbalanced weight and position;
4) Review the balance of the balanced rotor, which is to ensure the effect of correction;

In production, the top, inner and lower edges of the rotor are prone to wear. Check whether the machine is running normally every day, and regularly check whether the transmission triangle belt is tightened. If it is too loose or too tight, it should be adjusted properly to ensure that the triangle belt should be grouped and matched, so that the length of each group is as consistent as possible.
